"An interesting mixture: free jazz, postbop, cosmic-kraut sounds, Japanese gagaku and Indonesian gamelan, a bit of rock, spiritual choirs... I have rarely heard such music before. Music that dates back to another era, from an unutterably distant time, where titanic beings of unspeakable cruelty dominated this world. The music of the Great Old Ones from the horror visions of H.P. Lovecraft would probably be made audible here. The album does not really sound like the work of a simple human being, but rather like a symphony transmitted by a higher power to the Creator and recorded in a state of intoxicating detachment."
